However, there is also a beautiful range of quiet, peaceful beaches, such as Billow Ness in West Anstruther and Harbour Beach in Elie – many of which have won awards for the quality of the sand and clean waters.

It lives up to its promise and combines challenging, historic courses with hidden gems, scenic links and beginner friendly courses. The jewel in the crown is the Old Course at St Andrews, home to legendary championship golf for decades.
